The 2024 STC Basket Raffle is actually 3 events in one! We have continued this format to allow for various opportunities for participation.

Online Basket bidding: May 1 to May 15

Preview Event: Free Entry May 18th 12pm to 3pm

Ticketed Event: Admission Ticket Required May 18th 6pm to 11pm

  • The online basket raffle bidding will open on May 1st and close at 6pm May 15th.

  • Yes, Saturday, May 18th from 12pm-3pm. We recommend scheduling a time and per-purchasing tickets. Additional tickets will be available on site for purchase. For additional information see In Person Viewing Section details below.

  • • Tier 1 General Baskets. The chances are sold in a sheet containing 25 of the same unique number. Baskets in this category have a minimum value of $35 with most being in the $50-$100 range.
    • Tier 2 Tickets are individually numbered tickets. Classroom baskets in this category were made by the classrooms of the Education Center, Early Childcare Center and Prep Program. These baskets generally have a value greater than $150
    • Tier 3 Grand Prize are individually numbered tickets. These prizes have a higher dollar value than those with the regular ticket price and contain unique experiences or items.

  • • If you click on the picture of the basket, the contents and all details related to each basket will be listed. The STC Basket Raffle committee is not responsible for items mislabeled by their sponsor. Every attempt at validating the contents of the basket will be made and contents labeled on the basket and online description.

  • • When you see the baskets, you would like to win, select the number of tickets you would like to virtually “drop” into those particular items.
    • Tickets are 24¢ each, which equals $6 for every 25 tickets. There is no limit to the number of tickets you purchase. Once you have completed your selections, you will be directed to enter payment information and check out. Please be sure to use an email address that we can contact you at if/when you win. The email used for notification will also be used to send a copy of your ticket stubs.
    • Shortly after making your purchase, you will receive an email receipt, please check your spam folder. Please add Info@stcbasketraffle.com to your contacts to avoid spam emails.

  • • Based on the volume of orders it may take the volunteers 24 hours to verify and fulfill each order.
    • Each order is printed, reviewed. Every participant is assigned a Participant ID. The raffle tickets are then selected based on your request/order. Each ticket is logged with your unique participant id along with name, email and phone number.
    • A team of volunteers verifying that each ticket is properly matched to the correct basket container prior to dropping ticket. We also have additional checks and balances in place to ensure accuracy.
    • The final step for each order is receipt of an email contains Each order is reviewed by a team of volunteers. you will receive an email receipt that includes a photo of your ticket number(s). If you do not receive the email confirmation by May 17th at noon, please check your spam folder and then contact us at info@stcbasketraffle.com.

  • • Bid containers are secured until the day of the event.
    • On the day of the event a team of basket raffle committee members will be observed by non-participant volunteers. The tickets will be unsealed and placed into their corresponding bins.
    • On the evening of May 18th, one ticket will be pulled per basket. The ticket number will be announced and taped to the basket. As the number is announced, our basket raffle ticket specialist will enter the number into our lookup database to check for an online winner. If the winner is present, the winner will announce they have the winning ticket. The ticket will be validated prior to release of the winning basket. You do not need to be present to win. All tickets will be validated to an in-person attendee’s ticket stub or to the basket raffle online ticket log.

  • • Attendees will be asked to register for a time slot. This is done so that we have an even flow of traffic. It takes about 45 minutes to one hour to purchase chances, view the baskets and “drop” your ticket in the labeled basket bin.
    • Every participant’s ticket number is logged to their name, email and phone number. Those that pre-register will have this information already entered for them and their Participant ID will be used to electronically log each ticket number with their information. You do not need to write your name on tickets. This is the same process we use for the online raffle.

  • • The ticketed event will be held on May 18 from 6 pm to 10:30 pm, first basket to be drawn at 7:45pm.
    • The evening seated event requires an admission ticket. Seating is limited. Admission Tickets are $25 which includes entry to the event, 1 sheet of 25 chances and 1 door prize chance. There will be NO walk-up event ticket sales.
    • All seating is assigned.
    • All participants must be 18 years of age and if a basket contains alcohol 21 years of age. There is no reentry to the event.
    • The Saint Teresa of Calcutta Campus is a smoke free campus. No smoking is permitted anywhere on campus.
    • Any raffle tickets that are altered, folded or otherwise marked will be voided and a new ticket selected. This is in fairness to all participants.

  • • All tickets received online, and the preview event will be mixed into the ticket bins prior to the start of the evening ticketed event.
    • The ticket bin(s) for the basket will be dumped into a bowl. The bowl will be mixed top to bottom and side to side by hand a minimum of three times. The ticket dumping and selection are witnessed by several members of the basket raffle committee. The Master of Ceremonies will select one ticket If the ticket selected has been folded, altered, or otherwise marked will be voided and a second ticket will be selected.
    • The ticket number will be announced twice and taped to the basket.
    • As the number is announced, our basket raffle ticket specialist will enter the number into our lookup database to check for an online winner.
    o If an online winner is found, “online” will be announced to the room.
    o If the winner is present, the winner will announce they have the winning ticket. The ticket will be validated prior to release of the winning basket.
    o You do not need to be present to win. The winning basket will be secured, and ticket validation and identity will be verified prior to release of the basket.

  • • You do not need to present to win a basket. Chance Ticket Stub/Registration of Chances will be used to validate every winner. See Ticket selection section.
    • If present you will need to acknowledge you won (clapping, cheering and standing are accepted). A basket raffle prize team member will ask for your ticket stub and validate that you won.
    • If you have purchased tickets online and are present at the event, you can have your online ticket email for validation or give the team member your name to claim.
    • Basket winners not present will receive an email with guidance for claiming their winning basket(s). An email will be sent after the event typically around midnight.
    • On the evening of May 18th, one ticket will be pulled per basket. Tickets that are defaced, folded and or adulterated will be voided. The ticket number will be announced twice and taped to the basket.

  • • Details for pick up will be included in emails sent to basket winners after the event. Baskets can be collected on Sunday, May 19th Time TBA at the STC Education Center Multipurpose Room.
    • If you are unable to collect your prize(s) during one of the designated times, please contact us via email info@stcbasketraffle.com to make alternate arrangements.

  • Two reminder emails will be sent to the winner on May 24th and June 21st. All efforts will be made to contact each basket winner. After a designated amount of time, baskets will be returned to STC basket raffle to be used in a future event.
