- When will the online raffle start and end? Sales start Monday May 1st at noon and will end Monday, May 15th at noon.
- Can I view the baskets in person? Yes, Saturday, May 20th from 12pm-3pm in person viewing. We recommend scheduling a time and per-purchasing tickets. Additional tickets will be available on site for purchase. Sign up genius available here.
- How does the raffle work? When you see the baskets you would like to win, select the number of tickets you would like to virtually “drop” into those particular items. Tickets are 24¢ each, which equals $6 for every 25 tickets. There is no limit to the number of tickets you purchase. Once you have completed your selections, you will be directed to enter payment information and check out. Shortly after making your purchase, you will receive an email receipt that includes a photo of your ticket number(s). If you do not receive the email confirmation by May 19th at noon, please check your spam folder. Our team of volunteers will then physically drop your tickets into the designated basket containers which will be sealed until the day of the drawing. On the drawing day, the containers will be opened, well shaken and mixed, and winning ticket numbers will be pulled on camera for all to see. - In-Person Event
The evening seated event requires an admission ticket. Seating is limited. All requests for tickets will have a response within 24 hours with instructions to pay. Requests will be honored via the time date stamp of this form. Ticket Requests are limited to 1 table or 10 tickets. Admission Tickets are $25 which includes entry to the event, 1 sheet of 25 chances and 1 door prize chance. All participants must be 21 years of age. There is no reentry to the event.
The ticketed event will be held on May 20st from 6 pm to 10:30 pm first basket to be drawn at 7:45pm. The Saint Teresa of Calcutta Campus is a smoke free campus. No smoking is permitted anywhere on campus. Chance Ticket Stub/Registration of Chances will be used to validate every winner. You do not need to present to win a basket BUT your chance ticket must be registered. All online purchases will be registered. If you pre-purchase chances online or attend the Free Preview Event your chance ticket numbers will be registered in the ticket log. If you purchase tickets during the event we will check the winning chance against your stub to claim basket. - How do I see what is included within the basket listing? If you click on the picture of the basket, the contents and all details related to each basket will be listed.
- Why are some baskets more expensive? We have baskets designated as “Grand Prizes.” These prizes have a higher dollar value than those with the regular ticket price and contain unique experiences or items. We also have Classroom baskets. These were made by Classroom and PREP and are much larger than regular baskets. These tickets are $3. These tickets are sold separately. There is no limit to the number of tickets you can purchase for these baskets.
- I purchased 25 tickets, why don’t I have 25 numbers? We are using a raffle format, meaning that lots of 25 tickets will share one number. Each group of 25 additional tickets is assigned a different raffle number.
- How will my purchase show on my credit card statement? Your statement will reflect payment to “STC”
- Will there be a chance to view the baskets before the event? The baskets are listed with photos and detailed listings of the contents of every basket posted on the STC Basket Raffle Website. In Person viewing will be available on Saturday May 20st from 12-3
- How will I know if I have won? If tickets were purchased online or during the day, the ticket numbers are logged. Those winners will be will be notified on the evening of May 20st via email. You do not need to be present to win. If tickets purchased during evening tickets event, you will present your ticket when winning number is called.
- How are tickets verified? And how do I know you are announcing the correct ticket number? There be many members of our STC team present at the drawing, but there will also be people not associated with our event serving as witnesses to each drawing to verify that we are calling the actual number pulled.
- How do I know my tickets went into the baskets I selected? We have a team of volunteers that will be verifying that each ticket is properly matched to the correct basket. We also have additional checks and balances in place to ensure accuracy.
- I won a basket; how do I collect it? Pick up of baskets will be Sunday, May 21nd from 10 am to 12 noon. Note: Any item that contains alcohol must be picked up in person by adult 21 yrs or older with id.
- When and where can I pick up my basket? Baskets can be collected on Sunday, May 21 from 10 am to 12 noon at STC. This will be included in emails sent to basket winners after the event. If you are unable to collect your prize(s) during one of the designated times, please contact us via email email info@stcbasketraffle.com through the contact button on our storefront and we will make every effort possible to work with you.
- I won a basket with alcohol. Do I need to do anything special? Yes. When you come to pick up your winnings, you must show a valid photo id that includes your date of birth.
- What happens to baskets that are not collected? A reminder email will be sent in advance and all efforts will be made to contact each basket winner. After a designated amount of time, baskets will be returned to STC basket raffle to be used in a future event.
- When will the online raffle start and end? Sales start Monday May 1st at noon and will end Tuesday, May 16th at 11:59pm. The event will be broadcast on Saturday, May 20, 2022 time to be determined. All times are Eastern Standard.
